All About Strapless Strap-Ons
In the world of pleasure products, strapless strap-ons are a relatively new invention but they became immediately appealing to many couples who wanted penetration without harnesses getting in the way.
What is a strapless strap-on exactly? The idea is that the wearer inserts the anchoring bulb into their vagina, which leaves the dildo portion protruding so they can then penetrate their partner with it. This allows the wearer to experience vaginal and g-spot stimulation while also stimulating their partner anally or vaginally
Despite the name, many folks choose to use a harness with their strapless strap-on dildo so they can enjoy more control and confidence. A harness helps to stabilize both ends, so the wearer still gets internal stimulation while having more control and stability when they thrust into their partner.
CHOOSING A STRAPLESS
- When choosing your strapless, it may be counterintuitive, but a larger anchoring bulb is easier to keep in place.
- Take note of features such as remote control for vibrating strapless strap-ons which will make using the features easier.
- Models with a flexible neck are going to be more difficult to control once in place and are more likely to need a harness
GETTING STARTED
- We recommend wearing your strapless around the house to get a feel for how it works before trying it with a partner
- When trying with a partner use lots of lubricant
- If your partner is newer to penetration or unused to the size of your strapless, use it manually first. Instead of wearing it, hold it by the bulb and penetrate them that way, or allow them to penetrate themselves with it to ensure they are comfortable with the size and shape.
- Try positions that leave the wearer on their back with their legs closed to allow for more stability over the strapless. Have your partner ride you.
DO STRAPLESS STRAP-ONS REALLY WORK?
The answer to that is yes... and no. In truth, it is incredibly difficult to control a strapless enough for effective penetration of a partner without using a harness for stability. Even is you have extremely strong pelvic floor muscles, a strapless can be difficult to control and natural vaginal lubrication can also contribute to the bulb slipping out of place. Using a harness gives you both a feeling of security and stability while you still get to enjoy the same pleasures you were seeking.
OTHER FUN WAYS TO USE YOUR STRAPLESS STRAP-ON
- Fulfill your roleplay or gender swap fantasies
- Let your partner give you a 'blow job'
- Use the bulb end as a handle for solo or partnered play
