Dame products is a favourite here at Naughty North because of their commitment to quality, research, and fairness. We are proud to bring this extraordinary company into Canadian bedrooms.

Founded by Alexandra Fine, a sexologist from Columbia University, and Janet Lieberman, a mechanical engineer from MIT, Dame has made it their mission to close the pleasure gap - the disparity in satisfaction that people with vulvas experience in the bedroom, versus their cis male counterparts. It’s a real problem!

Their first product, Eva, was the most crowdfunded sex toy in history, while their second toy Fin is the first sex toy allowed on Kickstarter. They then went on to release  Pom, Kip, and Pillo within 6 months and have never looked back.

The company then went on to create Dame Labs to conduct much needed people-centered research, ensuring that they are regularly getting ~damechanging~ inspiration, input, and feedback based on diverse personal experiences. Anyone (including penis-havers) who supports Dame's mission to make the world a happier place, one vagina at a time is invited to join Dame Labs.

Dame Products engineers for sexual wellness by building welcoming community, designing innovative tools, and bringing life-changing education to your bedroom. The Dame team represents a wide range of ages, genders, ethnicities, backgrounds, and lifestyles. A variety of voices in the lab helps them develop products that address the needs of as many humans as possible!

In 2019 in a landmark case, Dame launched a lawsuit against the New York City Metro Transit Authority for discrimination in advertising after ads which they had originally been given permission to run had been cancelled due to sexual content. The suit has not yet been resolved.
